Southeast Asia Islands

The Southeast Asia islands lie off the coast of mainland Asia, nestled between the Indian and Pacific oceans. They include the countries of Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Papua New Guinea and several others.

Indonesia offers tropical climates and long stretches of white-sand beaches. Guests will find well-preserved rainforests on Sumatra and Kalimantan and can visit an impressive eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Among these are the Borobudur Temple Compounds and Komodo National Park. In Singapore, visitors will find an eclectic mix of modern high-rises, historic mosques and lush nature preserves, while the Philippines offers mountains, beaches and rainforests. Papua New Guinea is home to thousands of cultural groups living on the island. Attractions include various markets and festivals, as well as water activities such as diving, surfing and fishing.

  • Cruises to Southeast Asia islands are typically 4 to 25 nights in length, but longer cruises are offered.

  • These cruises depart from Bali, Singapore or large cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Bombay, Bangkok and Hong Kong. Some also depart from Australia. Since you’ll need to fly a very long distance to reach your port of departure, we suggest that you arrive at the port city at least one or two days in advance of your cruise. This will give you time to rest and get oriented before boarding the ship.
